Everton legends will take to the pitch for a charity football match against Liverpool legends to raise money for homeless people in the Liverpool City Region. The match, called Game4Hope, will take place at Hill Dickinson Stadium on 26 September. The event aims to raise awareness and funds for Shelter and Everton in the Community to help people affected by homelessness in the region. The match will feature a Merseyside XI side, managed by Peter Reid and John Barnes, and a Rest of the World XI side, featuring Brazil's World Cup-winning captain Cafu and Champions League winners Clarence Seedorf and Jaap Stam. Celebrity fans stepping onto the pitch include Tony Bellew, John Bishop, and Molly McCann. Seven-time Women's Premier League winner Rachel Yankey and Chelcee Grimes will also feature. Rapper Tinie Tempah will perform at half-time. The funds and awareness raised will help Everton in the Community continue to support people facing homelessness in the region.
