Everton have released their new squad numbers for the 2026-27 campaign, with Jarrad Brantwaite's number change from 32 to four highlighting his importance in the squad. The Toffees have also seen new signings Hayden Hackney, Tyrique George, Christian Norgaard, and Brennan Johnson take up specific shirt numbers. David Moyes will surely be hoping for more arrivals at Hill Dickinson Stadium, especially that of Jack Grealish from Manchester City. The Blues apparently want the England international back ahead of next season. At the Merseyside outfit, the 30-year-old got back to his best before picking up an injury in January, and plans may already be in place over his future. What we know about Jack Grealish's return to Everton is that the forward is expected to earn around £200,000 a week. Man City will surely want a fee for the Englishman, whose contract at the Etihad Stadium expires next summer. The number seven is also available at the Merseyside outfit after Dwight McNeil's move to Crystal Palace in a swap deal for Brennan Johnson. All signs point to Moyes reuniting with the former Aston Villa player at Hill Dickinson Stadium, but supporters will still be cautious until it's made official. Why Everton have just been backed to make deadline-busting Jack Grealish signing is a question on everyone's mind. Moyes essentially could have almost the same attacking lineup as last season, with only Johnson coming in for McNeil as the one change. If Grealish signs for the Toffees, he will surely retain his place on the left-wing, with Iliman Ndiaye on the right, while Beto and Thierno Barry will likely battle it out for the number nine position. Tyrique George, Tyler Dibling, and Johnson could be the supporting cast out wide. Moyes showed faith in the former Chelsea youngster last season, while the ex-Tottenham Hotspur forward will be hoping to reignite his career in L3. Dibling could once again be left with questions around his role at Hill Dickinson Stadium after coming off an underwhelming campaign. The 20-year-old Englishman's struggles in L3 may continue next season, which should be concerning for his development.
