Everton Unveil Hill Dickinson Stadium Enhancements

Everton are bringing in a series of matchday changes at Hill Dickinson Stadium for the 2026/27 season following feedback from fans. The changes, which include reducing the period that roads surrounding the 52,769 capacity venue are closed before kick-off (from two hours to 90 minutes), will be implemented from Everton's Premier League opener against Crystal Palace on August 22 onwards.

What Comes Next?

The changes also include improvements in Club View, extended post-match opening in the South Stand, and a range of accessibility enhancements. The wider stadium campus will continue to evolve, with the historic Hydraulic Tower set to enter an exciting new chapter following significant investment to restore and bring the Grade II-listed building into active use.

Why it Matters for Everton

The improvements are part of Everton's commitment to continually evolving the stadium, learning from every event and every matchday so that the experience keeps improving season after season. Andrew Middleton, Everton's president of business operations, said: "Hill Dickinson Stadium has already established itself as an outstanding home for Everton and, importantly, this is only the beginning."

Everton's New-look Tower

The new-look interior of the Hydraulic Tower, set to become a premium matchday destination, has also been shared. The changes, which include a new trial to see selected pints of beer available for £4.50 during the first 45 minutes after the stadium opens, with 50p from every qualifying pint sold donated to the 1878s, are part of a series of changes at Hill Dickinson Stadium.
