Everton are on the lookout for a new right-back and Aaron Wan-Bissaka could be their man. The Blues are reportedly the most advanced in transfer talks for the West Ham star, with the Toffees facing competition from Sunderland, Newcastle, Fulham, and Fenerbahce. Wan-Bissaka's experience would make it a shrewd move for David Moyes' side, if they can beat their rivals to his signature. West Ham, who are in the Championship for the new season, are looking for between £15-20million for the defender. A report from ExWHUEmployee, via the West Ham Way, claims that the Toffees are the most advanced when it comes to deal for the 28-year-old. It claims that the Blues face competition from the likes of Sunderland, Newcastle, Fulham and Fenerbahce. The interest from the Turkish side is highlighted as a potential danger, with the idea of a swap with Nelson Semedo, who has worked with Nuno Espirito Santo before, raised. He said: “There is interest in Aaron Wan-Bissaka. Everton are one club thought to be keen but Sunderland, Newcastle, Fulham and Turkish side Fenerbahce are also said to be monitoring the situation. “Everton seem the most advanced out of those clubs. Interestingly though if Fenerbahce interest amounts to anything, he could replace Nelson Semedo at right back. “Without players included the club will be looking for between £15-£20m for the full back and he will also be going to the World Cup where he can further showcase his ability.” Ultimately, it does not matter if the Hammers have agreed a deal with the Instanbul-based side, the player will have the final say. Everton should be able to convince Wan-Bissaka that his future belongs at Goodison Park. For starters, they are clearly a club that is on the up, under the leadership of the Friedkin Group, having finished in 13th position, nowhere near their previous relegation struggles. Secondly, they can offer much better wages than the Yellow Canaries, given the riches of the Premier League, compared to the finances of the Super Lig. Finally, the spot would be his to lose as Moyes' side are crying out for a senior right-back to take over from Jake O'Brien, who is naturally a centre-back. If the Blues are willing to pay what the London Stadium side want, then surely Wan-Bissaka would come to Merseyside, over a move to the Turkish side. It remains to be seen what happens with the former Manchester United man, and his future will likely not be resolved anytime soon, as he is away with DR Congo at the World Cup.
